Reading plan
My professor recommended me The Pragmatic Programmer in the last few terms. But I only have a chance to read it recently, and I regret I didn’t do it sooner. It’s a very good book, comprehensive, easy to follow, humour writing style. I’ve only finished the first chapter but it inspired me alot and also consolidated my way of thinking.
Its only 6 months to go, I think I will finish these books before I transfer to the new environment:
- Object Oriented Programming in C++ by RobertLafore There are many of this kinds around but after searching for recommended books and reading reviews, I decided to take this to review C++ and OOP.
- Effective C++ My prof also recommended this to me long ago lol
- Code Complete: A Practical Handbook of Software Construction
- The Mythical Man-Month: Essays on Software Engineering
Thats it, hope I have enough time
